SunRail Hamilton: Late Train Added for Weeknight Shows
SunRail Hamilton service starts September 29, when SunRail begins running an extra late-night train so theatergoers can ride home after weeknight performances at the Dr. Phillips Center in downtown Orlando.
What Is SunRail Adding for Hamilton?
SunRail is adding a special 11 p.m. northbound train from Church Street Station on 12 weeknights, giving Hamilton audiences a car-free way home. The service is designed as an alternative to driving and parking downtown. It is operated by Alstom, the company that runs SunRail.
When Does the Extra Train Run?
The special train runs on weeknights from September 29 through October 16, 2026, and does not cover weekend shows. It runs in addition to SunRail’s regularly scheduled 11:01 p.m. southbound train, and regular fares apply. Because the service covers 12 weeknights, check the show schedule to confirm your performance date.

How Far Is the Station From the Dr. Phillips Center?
Church Street Station is about a five-minute walk from the Dr. Phillips Center. The northbound and southbound platforms sit directly across from each other at South Street, with pedestrian crosswalks connecting them, so riders can get to the right side easily.
What Should Riders Know Before Going?
Northbound riders get the special 11 p.m. departure, and southbound riders can use the regular 11:01 p.m. train. Weekend performances are not included, so anyone attending on a Saturday or Sunday will need another way home. SunRail’s website and app have the full schedule.
What This Means
The extra train is a small, temporary change, but it removes one of the biggest downsides of a night out downtown: driving home late and paying to park. For anyone in the SunRail corridor who has skipped downtown shows because of the drive, the next few weeks are a low-effort way to try the train.
