October festivals are in full swing across Orlando and the surrounding communities this month, with everything from Oktoberfests to cultural celebrations and food festivals filling the calendar in Casselberry, Apopka, Longwood, and Sanford.
Oktoberfest Celebrations
October 3 & 24 — Orlando’s Original Oktoberfest
German American Society of Central Florida, 381 Orange Lane, Casselberry. Central Florida’s longest-running Oktoberfest since 1963, with authentic German beer, food, live music, and a flag parade.
October 9-10 — Avalon Park Oktoberfest
3801 Avalon Park Blvd E, Orlando. A free family celebration in Downtown Avalon Park with a beer garden, live music, and community performances.
Cultural Festivals
October 9-11 — Serb Fest
St. Petka Serbian Orthodox Church, 1990 Lake Emma Rd, Longwood. A three-day celebration of Serbian music, food, and culture, now in its 19th year.
October 10 — Orlando Latino Fest
Luminary Green Park, 437 N Terry Ave, Orlando. A celebration of Latino culture, music, and food during Hispanic Heritage Month.
October 17 — Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival
Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake, 3401 S Hiawassee Rd, Orlando. One of the largest dragon boat events in Florida, with racing, an Asian Cultural Expo, and live performances.
October 25 — Fiesta Calle Orange
Downtown Orlando, Orange Ave & Livingston St. Central Florida’s largest Hispanic cultural celebration, with live music, food, and a car and motorcycle show.

October 10-11 — Orlando Fire and Flavor Festival
Festival Park, 2911 E Robinson St, Orlando. A spicy food festival featuring hot sauce vendors, pepper challenges, and a craft fair marketplace.
October 11 — Sanford Food Truck Fiesta
West End Trading Co, 202 Sanford Ave, Sanford. A monthly gathering of Central Florida food trucks in Historic Downtown Sanford, with live music and artisan vendors.
October 24 — Central Florida Veg Fest
Orlando Festival Park, 2911 E Robinson St, Orlando. One of the largest and longest-running vegan festivals in the world, now in its 21st year.
Recurring & Community Events
October 3-31 (Fri-Sun) — Club Lake’s Fall Festival
3403 Rock Springs Road, Apopka. A recurring fall festival with a corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, and play structures for the whole family.
October 9 — A Night of the Mystic Arts
Lake Concord Park, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry. Seminole County’s largest New Age and mysticism festival, paired with the city’s Friday food truck event.
October 31 — Fall Festival at the Rock of Central Florida
Fort Mellon Park, 600 E. 1st Street, Sanford. A free community fall festival with food trucks, bounce houses, and field games.
