Magics Technologies Opens First US Office in Osceola County
What Is Magics Technologies Doing in Osceola County?
Magics Technologies, a Belgian semiconductor company, has opened its first U.S. office in Osceola County, marking the site as the company’s new U.S. headquarters. The new location combines sales, business development, and application engineering to support American space, defense, and nuclear customers, backed by on-site inventory and local technical support. It’s the company’s first physical presence in the United States, following relationships formed during the ITF World Belgium and Netherlands Mission.
What Does Magics Technologies Actually Make?
Magics designs radiation-hardened integrated circuits, built on standard CMOS technology, for use in space, nuclear, and defense applications. Their chips are used in everything from satellite constellations to lunar and deep-space missions to nuclear infrastructure. Having a U.S. base means faster local support and easier access for the American companies and government agencies that make up a significant share of that market.

Why Did Magics Choose Osceola County?
Magics Technologies CEO Jens Verbeeck said the region’s combination of infrastructure, talent, and industry support aligned closely with the company’s long-term growth strategy. The company specifically pointed to Osceola County’s semiconductor infrastructure, access to skilled talent, strong academic partnerships, and global connectivity through Orlando International Airport as key factors, placing Magics alongside the space and defense companies already established in Florida’s ecosystem.
Who Helped Bring This Deal to Osceola County?
The move followed a collaborative site-selection process supported by the Orlando Economic Partnership, Osceola County Government, the University of Central Florida, SkyWater Technology, the Florida Semiconductor Engine, Florida High Tech Corridor, and Space Florida. That level of coordinated support reflects the growing pull Osceola’s NeoCity innovation district has for international semiconductor investment.
What Does This Mean for NeoCity’s Growth?
Magics’ arrival adds another international name to NeoCity’s growing roster of semiconductor and technology partners, reinforcing Osceola County’s position as a serious player in the global chip industry. NeoCity, a 500-acre technology campus launched in 2014, was built specifically to diversify Osceola’s economy beyond tourism and agriculture by attracting high-tech industries and research institutions — and wins like this one show that strategy paying off.
