The new store will be an 85,000-square-foot, single-level location inside Marketplace at Altamonte, a 335,995-square-foot shopping center whose tenant roster includes Ross Dress for Less, Burlington, and Total Wine & More. Inside, shoppers can browse products organized by room and style, work with on-site design consultants, and take select items home the same day, alongside access to Wayfair’s broader online catalog and delivery network.

Why is Wayfair opening physical stores?
This marks Wayfair’s 10th physical store in the U.S., following existing locations in Wilmette, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; and Columbus, Ohio, with additional stores planned for Denver, Westchester (NY), Fort Lauderdale, Cincinnati, Princeton, and Pittsburgh. The company has pointed to a “halo effect” from its physical stores, noting that more than half of visitors to its Chicago-area location were new to the Wayfair brand.
